The UN Youth Summer School on Diplomacy is an educational programme that provides a unique space for learning. Through the first nine editions, distinguished speakers, in addition to experts and intellectuals, we have enjoyed the presence of Ambassadors, diplomats, businessmen and many respected professionals who have been contributing through diverse perspectives and experiences towards a better understanding of the topics covered, encouraging new thinking and inspiring debates.
We are happy to celebrate our 10th year anniversary of the UN Youth Summer School on Diplomacy, in late summer this year, between 25th of September and 2nd of October in Bucharest, Romania where the participants can consolidate their knowledge on the increasing interconnectedness of issues that the international scene is faced with.
The general theme is The Human Era: A World of Changes and Developments. The programme will comprise five panels with lectures and discussions on various approaches concerning the evolution of the United Nations, addressing climate change actions and Agenda 2030 and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The curriculum will address general issues and theoretical aspects of International Relations, Economics and Climate Change aspects in an effort to offer a comprehensive and balanced analysis of the foreseeable future of today’s stance on diplomacy in a world of changes and developments.
